I've got about a 4' wide desk at home, with a 24" LCD and two bookshelf speakers. So far it's great, but I'm looking to get an identical 24" for a dual monitor setup. I can tell this will make it so if I just sit the monitors on their factory stands, they'd go in front of the speakers.
Is there a common way that most people either raise their dual monitors above speakers on a cramped desk, or raise the bookshelf speakers? Another thought, I could get cheap speaker stands and set them at each side of the desk. What are your opinions from experience?
