Hey guys,

My friend is trying to help her friend get a website overhaul for his blog, and looking for how to find a web designer. I remember some sites where you would pitch the idea & then get some quotes from random designers...do those still exist?

It's just a blog, so nothing hugely fancy...anyone recommend some sites to refer her to?

thanks!!

Blogger as well. I've had good results with just using the blogger software and editing existing templates.

The quality of programming/design work there is lacking, but you can get stuff done dirt cheap.

It's probably best to just find a nice free wordpress template via google. If you have basic coding skills you can modify it yourself or pay someone a couple of bucks to tweak it.

The word blog is a pretty general term nowadays. There are tons of "blogs" that make a lot of money and get millions of hits a day

In addition to individuals running blogs you also have news companies like CNN, The New York Times, People, etc which run blogs using Wordpress.
