Hey everyone.

Anyone know how to run Regedit on a non-boot drive and have it actually read settings from the non-boot drive and not the current boot drive?

I am running WinXP and I changed boot drives because it was already setup with a fresh image and I didn't want to format/re-install/etc. Now my BF Vietnam CD key is on Drive D: but I boot from the new C:. I tried to run D:\Windows\Regedit.exe but it just opens my C: info. I want a fresh BFV install on C: but I can't find my CD case that has the key on it! Any help would be appreciated.

if it's in the user section of the registry, i think you can just use the load hive feature in regedit. otherwise, i think you may need to move all the registry files over while you're in the recovery console and then run regedit when you start up. someone else might have a better suggestion.
