I have the Asus A8V-E Deluxe. It does NOT have an option in the bios to set a command rate of 1T. I didnt even know what my command rate was currently until I downloaded a program called Everest which told me it was currently set at 2T.

Is there a program where I can change the command rate from windows because I can do it in the bios. Im running a A64 3200+ and I know a command rate of 2T is a huge performance hit.

I too have the A8V-E deluxe, and here are some pros and cons I've encountered.

Pros:

-After 24 hour prime and who knows how many hours of memtest86, I have yet to encounter stability issue. (FarCry is smooth so far, and NO BSOD w/ 3DMark 05 like those in Europe.)
-Onboard Wifi-G works wonderfully
-So far I am able to get it up to 240mhz*10 stable. (Using stock Vcore and 2 3 3 6, but I'll try more voltage later when I am less busy.)
-PCI-e/PCI lock.
-PEG left mode (faster, fast, normal, auto), good feature.

Cons:

-Lack of 1T/2T option in the bios.
-Noth Bridge fan is way too loud, and the Q-fan 2 technology only adjust the CPU fan, but not the NB fan. It runs at 8400rpm regardless of the temperature. Big time bummer for me.
-Only 2 SATA connections, however the price justifies it. I can always add a SATA2 controller in the PCI/PCIe slot.

Yeah, this lack of option is horrible from ASUS. I am e-mailing ASUS and calling them to urge them to add the 1t/2t option to the later bios updates. If you have an A8V-E, please do the same. Thanks.
