Find Lost money, property, etc... I found $180 for my aunt

Out of curiousity, I went my state department's website. I did a quick search and found 4 items.

Two are for my paternal grandfather (savings accounts). He died in 1982. Two are for my dad (stockholder dividends). All 4 say that they are over $100.

It should be interesting to see what my grandfather left.

If it says $100+, how are you all figuring out the exact dollar amount? Or do you just fill out the claim form and when the check comes, that is what you get?

My sister in-law found her missing paycheck of more than $700.00. The website only showed more than $100 but she knows she was missing this check. When I mentioned the company to her, she jumped and told me all about how the company said they sent the paycheck and she insisted that she never receive it. Well, I guess the state has hers!
