I'm giong to see a buddy of mine tomorrow and he lives in the woods, lol.

My mapping software for my GPS doesn't have his street or even his town in it. How could I find the GPS coordinates (longitude and latitude) of his house (using a conventinal map), so I can add his place in my mapping software?

Thanks.

THere's a freeware program called QuakeMap that should be useful. I haven't used it myself, but I'm shopping for a GPS unit and found a lot of positive reviews.

Hope it helps.

That program is pretty cool, but doesn't help me 🙁

I found his road using mapquest, can I get the longitude and latitude in mapquest?
