Find-a-Drug milestones

Is anyone else interested in developing a more spaced-out milestone structure for FAD? While it's always nice to make a milestone, I think they would seem more significant if they were spaced out... somewhat like 100,000, 500,000, 1 mil, 5 mil, 10 mil, etc. Of course this means it could be several weeks without a milestone (or more) but the significance of reaching one would be that much greater. 🙂 Anyone else care to comment?

It doesn't really matter to me. I do FAD to help out, not to gain milestones.

while true i believe that stats/milestones are necessary b/c they give ppl a sense of accomplishment and a reason for partaking in the particular DC trial.....

While everyone picks something that they believe they can make a difference in the stats give most ppl a want to contine...

some ppl here {even though i'm a newbie i've been reading } buy new pcs, upgrade, strive to put it on as many machines as they can....all in friendly competition while doing something worthwhile...i think that's what beatle was getting at.

You're both right. I picked Find-a-drug out of the other DC projects because I felt it could do the most good, not for stats. Still, stats are appealing to many people and it may help to garner more support for the TeAm. I think that's something everyone would like. 🙂

stats for most ppl give them a sense of purpose outside of "i'm making a diffference"...it's something more tangible than just knowing that results are being sent out 🙂

There's a reason why I selected them the way I did. Until 250,000, there's a milestone every 50,000. This seems to work out best for new members as they often enough to keep people's interest I think. After that, it's every 250,000. For most of the team, that represents a milestone every 1-4 weeks. The upper levels (5,000,000+) probably could use some refinement. Maybe every 500,000 from 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 and then every million after that.
