find a book title for me!

I read this funny "Sword & Sorcery" type book early in high school and was trying to remember the title. All I remember from it was there was this magic sword that hated getting covered in "ichor", so it would never want to fight.

This ring a bell with anyone?

Ichor is a common term meaning Blood of the Gods. It might be found in books by Homer and any number of books. In the Iliad Homer describes Ichor. I really dont know much other than that I have never really read the iliad.

It was written in the 80's, and it was a comedy/adventure.
