I'm looking to start getting into ETFs as a place to put my money in, currently my 401k is maxed out as well as my Roth, and whatever is left on paycheck is going into my ING savings.
Been doing some reading, and I was thinking of putting most of my savings in either a mutual fund or ETFs. Looks like even the most conservative ETF are yield arounding 10%, so it's doing much better than ING.
Any suggestions on where I can do some research on which ETF to invest in? My "fun" stock portfolio is heavy on tech, so I'm looking into something other than tech. Maybe $5k in an ETF that matches an index fund and another $7k in a more aggressive one?
For broker, I'm looking into sharebuilder's $6/trade ...
TIA!
