Deal within sight

Wonder if they just do this for the the brinkmanship or if they really need this much time to find a deal that works. All the stalling does is stress out the public as they don't know what is coming.

There will be a partial deal today, IMO but the big can will be kicked down the road.

There will probably be a basic deal today. Sequester will be held off and used as hostage for the dept ceiling showdown. Blackmail is the way today.

Keep it up america, keep voting for idiots in your local districts.

The House and Senate are both in recess (you think ANY politician is going to work on drinking night?). Technically any deal reached must be retroactive.
