Finance software

I'm looking for a good finance software, I'm between MS Money 2003 and Quicken 2003 Home & Business.
Wich one is better? Need opinions...

I need a software compatible with other currencies other than US dollars, do both of these software offer this feature?

Yes, both support foreign currencies. I use Quicken 2003 while my wife uses Money 2003. If you use an income tax program, get the one that supports your tax program.

Well, I've read this article at Cnet and came to the conclusion that both programs are good, and head to head when it comes to features. Now I'm really undecided... should I go for the cheapest one? Quicken seems to have more experience in this type of area, doesn't it?

I think for someone who has no clue about accounting or no experience using any type of financial software, Money would be easier to learn (it's got an annoying handholding feature where they talk to you to help you setup accounts/portfolio, etc. - you can easily turn it off). But that's not too say that Quicken has much higher learning curve either. On appearnce, Money looks a little more smooth but I've been using Quicken since college days so I'm more accumstomed to it. Both will do just about everything you're looking to do.

One thing to consider is whether or not you online banking has support for either software. Certain online banking websites only allows to export financial records in money format while many allows both money and quicken format. Good luck shopping.

Thanks a lot for your input. I'll talk to may bank and see wich software is supported.
your bank probably supports both, most do, altho they may have a deal with microsoft to push Money tho, many have those as well. Myself I love quicken for home/business accounts and have been using its online features for years.

Have you checked out the Quicken web site? They usually have demos or trial software you can d/l. I don't think MS does though.

Hey any of you guys using MS Money, do you know if you can use it to run a small business with? I have QuickBooks Pro and it has a monster of a learning curve.
