So here's the situation, I have a real estate deal that might fall through if I can't produce about 15-20k by Friday. Due to issues beyond my control the funds I had earmarked for this project are being delayed by about a week, just long enough to ruin this deal. So I'm thinking if I can find a credit card company that will lend out in the amount of 15k and up I can save my deal.

Anyone know of a credit card company that might work in this situation? I currently don't have a credit cards but I have excellent credit, so approval should hopefully not be a problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you probably need to walk into a B&M bank/credit union and apply for a personal loan. if you have collateral (like a car that you own ie no loan) then that would help

good luck

I don't think any credit card company is going to hand out money that quick. Time to ask your family.

I don't know of any place you could get a CC application processed, approved, and draw a $15K cash advance in two days.

You need to go the personal loan route, with collateral if possible. One problem is going to be that you need the money in two days. If you tell them you'll pay it back in a week, then they won't even talk to you because the interest won't be worth the time spent filling out the paperwork. I would set it up for a 24 month loan, then pay it back ASAP.

Realistically, I don't think any bank is going to process the paperwork fast enough to get your money by Friday.

What really pisses me off is that a few months back I was supposed to have found a credit card company for just this purpose.

There's a lesson to be learned here

excuse me while I go punch myself in the head

You need to speak with a hard money lender. Those are the guys I hate using (15% + 3 points) but can save a deal last second.

I took out 15k in a cash advanced from my top credit card company a few years ago... it was at 0% for 1 year with no fees. :)

Try and get friends/family to help out if possible?
If you get 5 friends with 3k limit, they might be able to help :x

Real estate deal? You might be able to get a mortgage out for that.

Relatives/friends/coworkers would come in handy right about now.

You would pay a preimum rate for unsecured personal loan. Try 1800 Champion or something

Don't forget the Triads. I love the Triad's style when people don't pay back the money on time.

Have you not listened moron? BANK, I don't even know why you started thinking about a CC, unless you have a card with a 20k limit.
