'K, just needed to rant... finals really, really bite. I'm studying for a CAD final tomorrow, then a macroeconomics final on Tuesday, then a comp prog final on Wednesday... ugh!

I'm done.

True. :p

I actually happen to be fairly anal about my grammar and my punctuation. Go figure.

You had one of the small sections, didn't you? I had the huge lecture class one... I tried to get into one of the 9:30 classes, but it wouldn't fit into my schedule. I'm in section AG.

CAD is M E 123 - CAD and Visualization. I'm not too terribly worried, I'm taking it CR/No CR, so no worries about GPA.

What classes are you taking?

<< I'll assume your school works on the quarter system? We're having midterms, not finals. >>

Yeah, most of the Wash. state schools are on the quarter system still. I think we're all set to switch over in about four or five years, but in the meantime, it's nice to only have four classes at a time.

I took 200 from a grad student - Hoon Han, if you've ever heard of him. Not a bad schedule for this quarter, if I do say so myself.

That sucks about next quarter, btw. I'm doing Math 308 and Cse 373 eventually, next autumn and winter, hopefully.

Did you just finish 143 this quarter?

This is something I have never understood. If you do all of your classwork, do an appropriate amout of studying to understand the material, take the quizzes and tests and use those to bone up on your weak points, then there should be no need to cram for a final exam. You are supposed to already have learned the curricula. You should be able to walk into the final and pass it without doing any extra studying at all.

Just my $.02. That's how I got through college and still had plenty of time to have fun.

That's actually pretty much what happens for me - i.e. I know the material, I just need refreshers to keep the material in my head.
