I never had problems using 1920x1200 on BF2... just used command line options.

sry to break this to you man, your FOV is totally fucked up when you use command line stuff. Your top and bottom gets cut off and the whole screen is then stretched, it looks like shit and limits your vision.

Thats you need to use special programs to enable widescreen resolutions with an increased FOV
