Still have some cable management to tackle and some touch up painting on the wall.

Nice thing about this mount is the monitor can slide 12-16 inches either way on the mount rails very easily and it can tilt.

The desk though just doesnt seem to work anymore so looks like I may be shopping for some new desk furniture.
 
Hey, that's my display! I think you might want to put some distance between you and the monitor, it should improve your viewing. I don't even have a desk anymore, it's all cordless. I have mine set up on a tv stand.

I took your advice and moved the desk back about 6 inchs and it does help. I just need a new desk as the one I have now is made to have the monitor on the corner of the desk. I at least have an excuse to look at office furniture 🙂
 
What monitor is that, what res are you running, and what video card are you using?

Looks interesting. I wonder: would you get a better viewing image by mounting the thing about 2 feet off the floor and looking down into it? Less neck and back strain for sure.
