I just went from a P4 1.5 with PC133 (running at PC100 I think) to a Athlon XP 2400+. I love it....

Well, its all I had the money for... next week I'm selling my 2 sticks of PC133 Crucial 256MB CL2 for $70 to a co-worker, while I will also be purchasing a 512MB stick of Crucial PC3200 for $85. Yes, I do have the ECS K7S5A Pro, so that will work.

Total cost of upgrade, including an Antec SX1040B: $250-(whatever I can sell a P4 1.5 + Dell case for)

Speaking of that... anyone WTB a case/P4 1.5GHz ;) If I got a good enough offer I'd sell the motherboard, but right now I'm thinking about shooting it :p

doesn't get much worse than the willamette on SDRAM. ok, actually, the cache-less celerons were pretty bad.
