finally taking a plunge to ddwrt on asus wl-500gp v1

after reading alot of more things you can do with it, i decide to change it to ddwrt.
now i need your kind help
i went to ddwrt site and the instruction is in German, cant find the English language for it.
and need help also what other setup i need to configure after installing the ddwrt on the router
i have WL-500GP version 1
im on dynamic ip and i have an usb multifunction printer which i want to plug to the router after flashing to ddwrt (if possible)
please advice
