Finally success (sort of)

Well I redid my L1 job yet again, and in addition closed all the L7 bridges. I finally got what appears to be a stable system at 8.5*100 at 1.84v. Only been running a little while, playing Diablo 2, max temp reported by MBM 5 is 38. Seems to be real sensitive to FSB adjustments though. Running 1 stick of the 256 MB Kingston Valueram from a Hot Deal several weeks ago. Haven't tried anything with the memory yet, and raising voltage beyond 1.84 doesn't seem to help any.

Opinions?

Are you using pencil, or conductive ink? The loctite stuff not only gave me a more permanant solution, but gave me extra mhz. Now my Duron 600 runs at 1016. (963 before)

Using Loktite. Sorry, should have mentioned that. Still not a very neat job, so next time I take the computer apart I may try again.
