is it because it's been sooo long since i read the book and i don't remember?? or did the ending of this movie really stray from the ending of the book.

based on this script, no carlos, how are they going to make part 2??

So corny and cheesy. Plot needed to be more thought out.

BTW

in the book, Bourne goes under to set himself up as the #2 then the #1 assassin so as to draw out the #1 assassin Carlos. i actually thought the book was pretty good.

The book was so bad that I couldn't force myself to finish it, so I couldn't tell you.

I thought the movie was decent though, for reasons listed above.

i thought movie was AWFUL - it basically didnt follow the plot from the book 75% of the time, and assumed you knew who all the characters from the book were in the movie. i also didnt like how they "dumbed down" jason's woman friend. (the canadian woman)

here's what wasn't thought out.

the guy is a trained assassin for the cia. but in the end you find out he didn't kill the guy he was supposed because there was a baby on his lap? that's bs man. terrible writing

generally, a hero is someone the audience looks up to. in fact, if we didn't, he wouldn't be a hero. now then, spattering a baby with it's father's blood isn't something most of us look up to. if he had killed the guy, it would have ruined him as a character. think this stuff out a little.

I liked it..but I wasn't impressed at all with Changing Lanes. Minority Report was good also..

changing lanes and bourne were ok movies. I gave em three's on netflix. I just saw The Ring, that earned a four from me, then again I tend to like movies like that. It's is nice though to see Matt and Ben doing separate movies. For awhile there I thought maybe there were going to announce their engagement

Hell, my wife even liked that movie and that's saying a lot! Do you know how flippin' hard it is to find a movie that can be enjoyed by a family with no worse rating than PG-13? This one fit the bill, which was surprising. We watched "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" last night, which also fit the bill, but I sure as hell liked "Bourne Identity" better!

I thought it was a awesome movie also. Matt Damon was actually good as a mercenary. I HATE when morons point out "plot holes" in a totally unrealistic film in the first place. THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS. I mean if you compare this to the latest Spy movies out (James Bond, Spy Games, the transporter, ecks vs. sever, XXX) it is a much better movie than all of them combined. I enjoyed it and got the DVD after seeing it in the theaters.

Some of you people are just way too critical and fail to see why this movie was made.....entertainment. You can't have fun and enjoy a movie if you are over analyzing everything. You ruin the movie for yourself.

Heres another vote for Bourne, The locations were nice and teh directors really made you feel like you were there out there in that frozen field towards the end. Overall I was never bored throughout the whole movie, cant say the same for changing lanes

I liked XXX better than Bourne. I like any movie that gives my subwoofer a work out, and xXX really did that. Vin Diesel could eat Matt for breakfast.

That's a great way to review... lets hope kangaroo jack or master of digsuise has an awesome bass track :/

And I'm sure if vin diesel had another facial expression other than I'm a tough guy he could compare to Damon as an actor and action guy .. simply because Damon can act a better action character makes it so much more believable.

masters of disguise is a waste of dvd space. I can't believe any movie house wanted to slap their name on that.

quite frankly, when I watch an action flick like XXX, the only facial expressions I expect are ones that say I'm gonna rip your head off.

Bourne identity was not bad, though a tad too predictable to my tastes.

Changing Lanes was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Though not nearly as bad as The Pledge.

Wow. Thats about all i can say.

I dunno, I'm usually somewhat of an authenticity fan - but I liked it.

I just didn't have preconceived notions about what I wanted to see.
