Wow. I heard of Nash's Equilibrium before in Econ but ever knew about the guy behind it. I don't know why I put off watching this movie for so long even though it had great reviews.

Anyone know any other movie or mathematicians that led such interesting/touching lives? (besides Einstein 😛)

I was kind of disappointed when I found out that his [Australian?] friend from Princeton was only a figment of his imagination. I liked him.

I can only imagine how crushed Nash was to find out his friend was only a figment of his imagination. 😕

A Beautiful Mind is a great movie. It's the only movie that made me cry. And yes, I am a he.

I didn't like Pi as much as I liked ABM.

If you haven't seen it, go get the DVD and watch it!

man, that is a great movie. Really gets you thinking. Just imagine, all his friends were created by his mind. Somehow his mind created unique faces and personalities for these imaginary friends, so different and distinct that he thought they were real.... man.

lol wow.

Ramanujan was a great mathematician who lead an interesting life. "The man who knew infinity" is an awesome book to read about it.
