Well after trying Norton '05 I did not like how invasive it has become, compaired to Norton 2003. So I got rid of it and got Kasperkey and Acronis as my image and anti virus pair. Well, I fell in love with TrueImage the first time I used it. Compaired to Ghost its WAY faster.
I have a question about how it works compaired to the old ghost, the one that totally shut down Windows, rebooted to dos and then imaged the PC. How is it that it can image/backup the disk without shutting Windows down? Wouldn't that be bad since some files may be changing constantly? How is it able to image if Windows and some programs may be writeing/changing files? Would that not lead to corruption of some files?
