if you're gonna put all that money into it, might as well spend a few more bucks and make all the cables rounded, it will make it look a lot more tidy :)

Nice looking:) You do realize that you now have NO EMC/EMI protection whatsoever.:Q

I hope I don't sound like a totally idiot, but, huh?

Mofunk, EMI means Electromagnetic Interference. Every electric/electronic device puts out a certain amount of energy, which can interfere with other devices - the shielding is the metal. Which can slow down/stop/"absorb"some of that energy.

What did you take the pics with? Or does MS limit the per-upload pic size? If so, time to get a decent pic host ;)

I can't discern anything with the tiny pics. At least 800x600 next time, bro :D

hey flowerman:
Sorry dude it was with an intel ccd cam so thats whats wrong...i think the cam has a p-5 chip in it!!!lol

actually i only have 480x640 or the lowest monitor setting size.....but its all see thru and ill say it again if you want looks and coolness and have the money and want(to me!!) the best air cooling out there this is the case and thats on the real!!
here is where you see them they also have other caese and they customize them....

and no i dont work for them just totaslly happy with my purchase!!

ps-if you do get one with the neon light make sure they drill you a hole for the switch!!

thanks for the feedback too!!

keep it coming!!

I agree that you have a good looking case. The metal in cases absorb interference that can interfere with your computers performance, but also can absorb interference that your computer may or may not give off towards other electrical devices (ie. monitor). Definitions below.

electromagnetic compatibility (EMC): 1. Electromagnetic compatibility is the condition which prevails when telecommunications equipment is performing its individually designed function in a common electromagnetic environment without causing or suffering unacceptable degradation due to unintentional electromagnetic interference to or from other equipment in the same environment.
Translated--->EMC - Electromagnetic Compatibility: The ability of a device or system to function without error in its intended electromagnetic environment.

electromagnetic interference (EMI): Any electromagnetic disturbance that interrupts, obstructs, or otherwise degrades or limits the effective performance of electronics/electrical equipment. It can be induced intentionally, as in some forms of electronic warfare, or unintentionally, as a result of spurious emissions and responses, intermodulation products, and the like.
Translated--->EMI - Electromagnetic Interference: Electromagnetic emissions from a device or system that interfere with the normal operation of another device or system.

Examples of EMC problems:

your computer interferes with FM radio reception
operating your vacuum cleaner causes "snow" on your TV
your car radio buzzes when you drive under a power line
a helicopter goes out of control when it flies too close to a radio tower
you pick up CB radio conversations on your stereo
your telephone is damaged by lightning-induced surges on the phone line
the screen on your video display jitters when the flourescent lights are on
your new memory board is destroyed by an unseen discharge as you install it

the clock on your VCR resets everytime your air conditioner kicks in
your laptop computer interferes with your aircraft's rudder control
the airport radar interferes with your laptop computer display

your pacemaker picks up cellular telephone calls
a hospital's EKG machine picks up Channel 5

Nice case... looks really cool :D

but the thing is, now that the chasis isn't grounded anymore.... One tiny spark and *wOoOsH* :p

As I am training to be an electrical and computer engineer, having taken a class called EMF(Electromagnetic Theory), and having worked for GE Medical Systems on several projects requiring EMC knowledge, I really don?t think you have much to worry about. First of all, a grounded metal case will help block these fields and emissions, but not completely. If that would do it, it would be much easier to gain EMC (Electro-Magnetic Compliance/Certification) for certain products. Second of all, it isn?t a very big issue in a household, or even office environment. I bet you would be hard pressed to find something that is seriously going to mess with your computer, or something that will be at all messed up by your computer.

Don?t worry too much, just don?t set it next to a table saw that runs at 230V or put any super sensitive electrical interments next to it and I am sure you will be just fine.

I kinda like it and would almost see about getting one but I would have to hack the front of for my big mamma radiator and I just dont think that would look good anyways if it were to fit....

Than again I really like there Hawk Tower :)
