OMEGA - Ordered and Soon To Be Built

Here is what I ordered:

AMD Athlon XP 1600+ Retail - NewEgg.com
Soyo Dragon Plus KT266A - NewEgg.com
Antech 1030 Black Mid Tower + 2 Extra Case Fans and 340w Enermex AMD Approved PS - NewEgg.com
512 MB of Crucial DDR PC2100 - Crucial.com w\ Anandtech discount
Western Digital WD400BB 80.0 GB @ 7200 RPMS (Two 40gig in RAID 0) - Dell Home 10% + $20 off
ATI Radeon 8500 Retail w\ DVI - Dell Home 10% + $20 off
Logitech Z560 4.1 Surround Sound System - Dell Home 10% + $20 off

Total came to just under a grand.

It took a few weeks to do research to get all the right parts - Hopefully, there will be no let downs, but I'll keep you guys posted.

This system should keep up with Ghost Recon or FS 2002 Pro :) which were chocking on my PIII 1Ghz\Geforce2

Nice looking system bro. Now you just need a good sound card and a set of speakers and you'll be set.

If you're willing to spend even more money, BestBuy has a 120gb WD drive for $300 this week, and you get a free 19" toshiba TV (looks like a fairly decent model too).

quite a system for < 1000$
