Took me all 2 hours to come up with gifts that are personal to each guy, but I think I did well...

Best Man (my brother): Rio Nitrus MP3 player
2 Best Man (giving speech): Throwback Twins Jersey
Groomsman 1 (best friend from high school): Hunting undergarments that smell like deer (or close to it...:))
Groomsman 2 (brother-in-law 1) Engraved Abu Garcia Saltwater Fishing Reel
Groomsman 3 (brother-in-law 2) Set of 500 poker chips in cherry wood case

I spoke to him yesterday and he already has eleventy billion chips...

Now I need a gift I can get him NOW!!!!

Any ideas?

At least you thought of decent, personalized gifts (and spent a lot of money, geez!)

Last wedding I was at, the groomsmen got silver flasks... but with no alcohol in them. Cheapskates!

I was going to buy him a Ghillie suit (he's a big bowhunter) but his wife told me he was set for camoflage outerwear. I am setting him up with the warm undergarments that will mask his smell. May not appeal to you, but he's gonna dig it!

I think you did great. Personalized gifts, rock. A lot of people will get everyone the same thing and I'm not say that there's anything wrong with that, but I'm impressed that you put that much thought into it.

*Props*

oh.. I'm sure he will.. you wouldn't have bought it for him otherwise..

maybe I'm just a too female to successfully ponder a wedding and deer-scented undies at the same time. :)

Those are great gifts. The personal touch is much better than taking the easy way out and getting the same thing for each guy.

Can I be in your next wedding? ;)

Did you get clay chips? I believe they can be personalized.
Or does he already have personalized clay chips?

did you also pay for their tux's or can that be considered their gift ? I know it's not personal but I heard this was acceptable to do.

Unfortunately you don't have time, but if he is into poker, get him som KEM cards. Hard part is you need the 2 1/2" wide cards and they discontinued them. You can find them on ebay however. You could hit KEM-CARDS.com and look to see if there is a store near you or where you are going, but call first and see if they have them. The 2/14 cards are for bridge and are smaller and flimsy because old people use them...

Good luck.

So I buy each guy a really personal gift except for one guy who I offer to pay for his tux?

I think no...

how bout some poker chips worth some actual money - i.e. call up caesars or the mgm grand in vegas or something and buy an amount of chips from them to be sent to you - now you have just bought him some games of poker at a real casino

world series of poker 2003 season 1 dvd set?
KEM cards?
silver/gold dealer button? -could engrave if you have time
XXX amount of money in an online poker site? (partypoker.com, pokerstars.com, pacific poker, ultimatebet)
Could get all or some of that stuff and give it to him in the cherry case. Chances are he doesnt have a nice case for chips, just the standard aluminum ones. case could be personalized too.
