Finally - New Thinkpad X220

Hello =p. I normally just lurk, but when I saw this I tripped some balls.

It has nice battery life and an IPS display:thumbsup:... About time. (even though it's not an amazing res..)

Interesting to see what kind of aftermarket graphics options are available. The rest of the setup looks quite configurable in the right range. I'm also a trackpoint fan.

Too bad, I was hoping for some mid-range dedicated graphics cards. 🙁

It's probably too hard to offer them in a 12.5" form factor and still keep heat in check, though.

I really hope we see some higher res IPS displays soon although it is nice just to see it as an option again.

It'll probably roll out around the same time as the T420/T520.

OMFG! This sounds really close to my "dream" notebook. If pricing is reasonable...

The lack of a 1440x900 LCD, available in both the x200s and the x201s, is a big drawback.
