I finally got the parts I wanted, I put it up together and it worked on first try! Here are the components:

CPU: QX6850
Mobo: Abit IP35 Pro
RAM: OCZ Platinum DDR2-8500
Hard drives: 2x Raptors and 1X 250 GB
CD ROM: Lite-On 20X DVD Drive
Sound: No sound card yet, just using onboard sound for now.
PSU: Cosair 520HX

I'm so excited I got this build up and running. Oh yea, shout out to all the guys that helped me come up with the components that i ended up getting.

I'll post some pics soon. But yeah its pretty excited. Definately excited about having this chip since its not even out yet. I might overclock it, kind of scared to. Don't want to break it or anything. But yeah I'll let you guys know how it goes. Oh raptors are on raid 0 for now.

oh yea, the main reason why I can't post pics of it yet is because I am waiting to install Windows XP on it but I don't have a floppy drive. So I have Vista 64 bit on it but don't have drivers for my wireless lan card. So im waiting for the floppy to arrive and when that happens i'll post some pics!

You have Vista but the wireless card isn't working, so you'll be installing XP (and why would you need a floppy for that? for the raid drivers?)?

For your wireless card, even if there's not Vista drivers, try XP drivers if they're available, it might work.

Yea this procesor is expensive, but I got it for free. Plus its a good o G0 stepping.

Ha kk, I'll push it to 3.3 Ghz next. Would the best approach to do this is to higher the multipier to 10x or just leave it at 9 and keep upin the FSB?
