that's 12 weeks of full time work...

120 days = 17 weeks jail time.
480 hours com.service = 12 weeks (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)

29 weeks. If she starts now she'll be out by Nov 12th just for violating her probation. Probably more jail time for the jewelry theft. God forbid, she'll be out when the world ends..... :p

I'd almost be willing to volunteer for 120 days just to see what it's like. Doesn't seem to be too bad.

Now that I think about it, though, I've never been to jail before and should probably start off with 24 hours or something...

:)

This gem from Lohan's lawyer is an insult to everyone involved, "It's undisputed that Ms. Lohan walked out of the store with the necklace on," Holley said. The prosecution must show she had "specific intent to permanently deprive the store of that necklace." Ok, if any one of us gets caught shoplifting I guess we can now say "Gee, I was gonna bring it back eventually" as a defense...

She walked right out after posting a $75,000 bond. Famous people are treated differently; any normal person would have had the book thrown at them by now.

There's far worse girls out there, some of which are mom's, so its interesting why the media likes to think anyone should really give a crap about lohan. They should make examples of the real fcked up girls out there on the news repeatedly.

If she would lose the anorexic look by gaining a few pounds, drop the bleached blond hair, clean up her complexion, hit the gym, basically return to 2005 attraction level, I think she should be let off with a slap on the wrist. That is what is called good jurisprudence. I think we can all agree on this.
