Was out of service for nearly 2 months because of BS between reseller and incumbent provider. The situation here in Canuckistan is really sad for internet.

What's it like for you guys? Just the big players, or you have resellers too? I was on 30/10 and upgraded to 60/10 after all this nonsense. Costs about $30 less per month than the same plan with the incumbent provider.

I am not a fan of teksavvy.

I use Start which is a reseller. Cable internet is really Rogers but I don't have to deal with their BS. I get unlimited service for $40 per month.

Cool, I've heard of Start. Sounds like a sweet deal.

There's also V Media, Acanac, Electronic Box and whole ton of other ones. I think it really doesn't matter which one you have, since they are all at the mercy of the incumbent provider when it comes to meaningful support. Best price wins I guess.

true, but teksavvy is being very co-operative with the RCMP about downloading copyrighted content. The other resellers wait for warrants to be delivered first.

Acanac is not bad. I find Start has decent prices and tiers. The downside is I need to upgrade to a docsis 3 modem soon.

I just tried again. 13.5Mb down/0.75Mb up. Fastest ever for me. $65/month bundled with unlimited domestic calling.

10ms ping, 5.5mbps down, 2mbps up, for $30. That is about as good as it gets in this town of 12.5k people, though we could pay $90 for 18/9 or $60 for 12/6.
