Finally, i give praise to an excellent company (Bed Bath & Beyond)

Bought a $60 brushed nickel showerhead from BB&B back in October of 04. Well the darn connector snapped off the other day.

I checked the company website (Ondine) and saw a lifetime warranty, but only snag was i needed a receipt (which i didnt keep, who thinks showerheads break?)

Anyway, so i stopped by BB&B Customer Service today to ask if they could possibly reprint my receipt so i can send it in for warranty work, and she said no need, just bring the unit in and they will just give me a new one.

So i went back an hour later with the broken one and voila, brand new showerhead... Took all of 30 seconds once i walked in the door, they already had a new one up front for me.

Thats what i call EXCELLENT customer service. And combined with those 20% off coupons i get every week, they just made a lifetime customer 🙂

without 20% coupon, their stuff is quite pricey.

Even with 20% off..

nonetheless, that was good customer service.

I really don't find their prices to be all that bad, in fact alot of stuff is quite reasonably priced there IMO. They sell some quality stuff, although i still think its a conspiracy in that BB&B and Linens and Things are the same company "D

Agreed. I am rather fond of Bed, Bath & Beyond. So much so I have stopped visiting the B&M store for a brief time, as I was finding too many things to purchase.

In the future, simply scan the receipt. Rather easy to keep receipts catalogued in such a manner.

I do scan most receipts i intend to keep, especially rebates (in a multi image .tif 🙂) However, for household items you dont expect to break, i didnt even think to do so 🙂

BB&B is great but pricey.

<--- $25 pizza cutter

They have a nice OXO one for like $8-10, i saw it the other day.

We buy a lot of stuff from there too, the 20% coupons make a lot of things enticing. 🙂 This story just reinforces our choice.

Yeah, BB&Y's prices aren't that great without those 20% coupons. Even with the discount, their stuff still seems to cost about the same as it would at Sears or Target.

I am surprised to see you have not been labelled "GAY!" or asked to return your man card, for shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond. 😀

Trivia: BB and B is one of Oprah's fave shops.

I'm bringing up this post the next time you slag me off.

I can shop at Bed Bath & Beyond without questioning my manliness as I've never been mistaken for gay.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that...)

Uh huh...

😉

Other place I know of like that is Williams Sonoma. If you need any really nice, high end kitchen stuff, that's definitely the place to shop. THey are expensive but it's really fancy stuff and they have great CS. Or at least they did last time I had an issue there.

TO get the 20% off coupons, just go to the store and sign up on their mailing list. Not sure if you can do it online or not. We get their coupons all the time too.

Do you receive the coupons via e-mail or snail mail?

A friend of mine worked there for a while. He hated it. Believe me, you guys don't even want to KNOW how much their prices are inflated.

snail mail, and they can't be used online.

I like BB&B too, but I don't buy too much from there. I do buy my bedding from there though.
