#Update : It took me a few clicks to setup my Intel 2200 BG mini-pci card in Fedora Core 4 look few posts below for details.#
So I am running Fedora Core 4 on an IBM thinkpad R50e which specs are listed in my sig.
It has the Intel wireless 2200 BG min-pci card which is an excellent card BTW.
I am attempting to get Wi-Fi working on it I am very close to getting it working .
The issue here is as follows :
I go to creat a new internet connection , then wireless I only see other devices so It looks as if it's not present/detected . But If I go under creat a new internet ethernet connection BAM I can see my intel 2200 BG wireless and my Intel pro 100 VE ethernet there !!!
What should I do here, my system does detect the card's presence but doesn't recognise the card as a wifi card, how can I make Fedora Core 4 know that this is a Wi-Fi card and that it needs to be listed in the wireless cards section so I can set it up ?
