I will keep it.

Clean little charging pad on the side, no more plugging in the cord and watching the port wear down. Small, simple design. Easy to hit side buttons. Its missing some of the exclusive Samsung features I liked on my Note 2, but it also has enough exclusive Sony features to make up for that, so I guess I'm ok.

Came with an international charger, and surprisingly good earbuds. Nothing else.

Interface is very sleek and I was able to set up my accounts and such much faster than any previous smartphone. Am not sure how well bluetooth and GPS work, will try those later on tonight.

The onboard speaker is strong and clear, good for music as well as movies.
The camera is much better once you remove the back plastic. Takes nice photos, even interior with shadows. The included a bunch of videos and songs to show off the capabilities. I also like the interface of Sony Walkman. I like where they put the lens. You dont block it when you hold the phone like a regular camera.

Any questions?

Hows the battery life?

I'm presuming that you got this retail (not from your carrier)? What version of android did it come with?

Also what colour one did you get, its a nice looking phone.

So far the battery life seems decent, had all the radios on and its barely drained. Will do an endurance test over the week. Am banking on a reliable battery because its not removable. But that also keeps the body slim. And its waterproof too.

It came from Amazon and works with tmobiles 4g. Has android 4.4.2 on it.

I picked the white one cuz all my other phones have been black and I was looking to switch up. Also makes it easier to find inside my backpack or glove compartment.

That would be cool. Remember that your battery life might be a bit lower than normal just with Android caching your stuff and downloading all your apps as well as you playing with it more because its new. :)

Yeah. Sony are pretty much the experts on making waterproof smartphones. Its been a standard thing in Japan for awhile. Its surprising that its taken this long for the rest of us to catch on.

You having any issues with apps and SDcard access?

I don't generally like white phones but the glass on the Z1 compact makes it look pretty good with white.

You going to slap a case on it or enjoy it the way it was made?

If I can find a super slim case I will use it.
Apps run just fine. Not used an SD card yet. The slot is kinda funny. But I've got 11 gigs free so unless I put a bunch of HD movies on the phone, I wont need more space.

Mine had its touch screen stop responding to input. Had to send it in to Sony for repairs. That was unnice.
