Finally got ROTTK XI, only play to get it from ebay!

Finally Got Romance of the three kingdoms XI. (those who are into the series read on)

Always loved the series on the consoles in the past but being a PC gamer in nature, I had always hoped and wished for the game to be on the PC for once. Being the noobie of not being up to date with KOEI news, only noticed it finally had a PC version sometime ago and heading to the local gamestop and other game stores where I lived, they never had it anymore. So hope was lost until I was curious to check it on Ebay (glad to see it was my first time shopping on Ebay) and there it was! lol got it from some game online store from Australia, arrived in under two weeks all brand new! So then right after work installed the game on one of my PCs and man was I so amazed and at ease knowing that I can finally play this great game on the computer.

Has anyone else here have it and what are your thoughts of the game?

For some reason I feel like the game is harder in chinese than in english.

The computer seems to fuck me over when the game is "region correct."

I bought it from EB Game's direct download for like 15-20 bucks a year or two ago. I LOVE the ROTK universe games. Huge fan of ROTK/DW.

I just love how the whole thing (game) is like, totally love the stratagy in it. Kind of reminds me of the "Hearts of Iron" series and yet if that game was more like this game, now that would be amazing. Loving XI so far it has more of suspense theme about it and although they slightly reduced the provinces you can conquer, I just love how they made reason for the environment. I cool thing I noticed with this game also is that when your officers with their armies attack another unit with a special tactics it leaves the feeling like your playing Dynasty Warriors lol.

I heard at one point part XII was coming out for the PS3 but was stratched out due to some other games that they are releasing. And since part XI is an anniversary edition thats the only reasone why this part came out for the PC and the others in the past didnt which in turn haves me believe the next game wont be on the PC..

I had no idea the series was still around, tbh.

What hooked me on with KOEI was actually Nabunagas Ambition for the super nintendo, I remember playing many hours on end with this game back in the day, got so addicted I wanted so much more, then found out KOEI had ROTTKs as well and it just changed everything lol

You guys think KOEI will develop part XII anytime soon? *haven't been updated with KOEI news as of late*

Romance of the Three Kingdoms for NES is my favorite console game of all time.

We used to play weekend-long tournaments. Sigh - good times.

Nobunaga's ambition was fun too, but after playing RoTTK first the seasonal turns seemed too trite. Monthly turns ftw.

The battles in RoTTK were just epic for the time.
