Oh pimpness. Got my 12" Brahma and Revo put in last weekend. Holy craptastic do i need some dampening. And some midbass. Otherwise, its happily slams and sounds good doing it. Some issues with the handoff to the mids though. I dont have any, so I have to run my X-O a bit higher then I would like, but once I get some good midbass and can drop that X-O point, its gonna be smooth...Like butta baby.......

Hey! Just cause I drive a Taurus doesnt mean its just a gerbil!
Its 4 gerbils and a rubber band thank you. But, the alternator working harder is really dragging them down, i may need to add another gerbil.

Nice. Good luck setting up the mid bass.. it's about the hardest thing to get it just right. What are you running on the front?

*heh* Factory....Hey, had to start somewhere right? 😀

Actually though, the factory does a REALLY good job on the mids and highs. Its the premium, with tweets on the A pillar. So, imaging is fairly good as well. But Christ it needs midbass. Probably run some Kodas, drop the midbass in the door and replace the tweet on the A pillar. Not sure though, my scrap it all, pull everything out and drop it in the Expedition. Who knows?

Shockwave! Congrats man, we spoke briefly before on our respective hobbies.

Sound dampening is HUGE. I suggest Raamaat as it's basically the exact same stuff as the dynamat pro but a whole heckuva lot cheaper. I can't remember the link off the top of my head but I'll ask around if you need it. Also as far as mid bass is concerned, I think that's a problem that EVERY system I know has. Right now I have an Audiomobile Mass sub, stock rears and a set of OZ Matrix 6.5"s and I swear I still need a dedicated midbass driver. Oh well, I'll worry about that when I get a new car 🙂 . Anyhow, *drool* @ that Brahma. That one was on my short list with the ID Max's, but I had to "settle" for a used Mass as I got it for dirt cheap at the time.

Raamaudio.com I think. Its in my Favorites at home. 🙂 Yeah, Thats exactly what I'm going to use. Dynamat is a ripoff IMO. A Mass eh? nice sub, I';ve heard alot of good. Was actually one I too was looking at but decided on the Brahma. I heard Audiomobile was bought out by Eclipse. Havent seen any supporting evidence, just a through the grape vine kinda thing.
