I've visited Mercedes in Stuttgart, Porsche in Zuffenhausen, BMW in Munich, and Ferrari in Maranello. Next on my list is BMW's engine factory in Styr, Austria. If you're a gearhead like me, these places would be on your list too!

Diese Bilder rocken wirklich. Schade sind sie so klein, hätte sicher ein oder zwei Bilder wo man ein Hintergrund draus machen könnte :)

Beautiful pictures. Cinque Terra is great, isn't it? A bit crowded, but still nothing compared to the crowds of Rome and Venice. :D

Your route is very similar to one I took a few years back; I'm really itching to go again soon.

Danke sehr!

Well, I am STILL kicking myself for not having taken my G2 digicam with me. The 35mm/scan photos onto CD method produces lack-luster results as you can see.

Well yeah, you can bring the digi-cam next time you make a Europe trip :)

It's such a nice, expensive camera that I would rather not risk blowing it up with one of those energy coverters. The most difficult thing is keeping the batteries charged. I could always buy more CF media to store images if I didn't have a computer to download them to.

Hey man, I wrote that entirely on my own, resorting to the dictionary twice (to check spellings) :( Sorry if my German sux :( Didn't my parenthetical comments about the word "Scanner" tip you off that it's an actual person writing it? BTW what is the German word for Scanner?

edit: granted, I wrote it in an English-speaking manner, but I'm pretty sure that gramatically it's good German, and even utilizes some colloquial speech.

question:

Why did you put down the HOPE Scholarship on your resume? it's just a tax deduction for going to college.

Well the first part was actually quiet good, but the last sentence wasn't.... thaaaaaaaaat good :) but you would make your way thru a German speaking country, that's for sure :)

Didn't want to attack you

"Es schaut an, wie eine wunderbare Reise" is like "It watches like a gorgeous journey." See and watch was confused I guess :) Correct would be "Es sieht sich nach einer wunderschönen Reise an." (not perfect but ok)

and

"Ich kann leicht sehen, warum leute Griechenland und Italien liebe" sounds like "I can slightly(or any other word, just not easily :))see, why the people love Greece and Italy" Correct:"Ich kann locker sehen, warum die Leute Griechenland und Italien lieben" (also not perfect, but ok) (your German got me a little bit confused, maybe I have tomorrow a better solution :))

btw, Scanner is also the term we use here in German-speaking countries :)

ok, yeah I've had that problem before between ansehen and anschauen  Also, I did exactly what you thought for "leicht", I used it for "easily" (which is how I learned it) but I guess that's not right then? Oh well, live and learn.
