So after 213,570 miles, my 1993 Prelude died on me a couple of weeks ago. Over the weekend, I was able to go out and look for a new car and came back with a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. Does anyone else have a Pontiac? How do you feel about them? I personally have always liked them and I'm excited to finally own one. I'll post pics when I borrow my friend's digi cam. Thanks all.

PS: It's the V6 3.4L SE2 model, Red with spoiler on the back. I know it's not much...but it's what my wallet could afford :)

I have a 2000 Grand Prix SE. It had some issues when i got it, that i didn't realize/know about until it was too late, but it has been a decent car so far. It had a lot of miles on it, and was a fleet vehicle. I didn't check on that before i got it...and have learned my lesson.

i got a 99 grand am, there is a good messege board, www.grandamgt.com tons of info, some of the most common problems are the UIM gaskets leaking on the 3.4L which seems to be caused by the dexcool, you car might have the old anti-freeze, and window regulators going bad.

I dropped $17K on the 2004 Grand Am. It seemed like a good deal. I'll be checking out those forums you guys mentioned, I want to be up to date with anything that might go wrong this car. Luckily it has bumper-to-bumper warranty so whatever happens to it....GM has to fix.
