Finally got my HT setup in the Master Bedroom Done last weekend

spacejamz

Lifer

ran the speaker wire from the back of the receiver into the attic so the the wires were hidden...talk about a PITA...at least for time I was in the attic, the temp was only in the 80's so it was tolerable up there...

that Onkyo 770 kicks some serious a$$...got the onkyo 6 disc DVD player from eCost as a refurb for $99

pic 1 - TV and stuff

pic 2 - surround speakers (all 3 of 'em)

pic 3 - front speaker wires going to the attic

in case anyone wonders, the little white thing on the head board is a the garage door monitor....if the garage door is open, it blinks red...when the door is shut, it stays green...

You did an awesome job on the wiring! Very clean. I'd have done it the same way. Very impressive.

It all looks super!!

BTW, we have the same bedspread/sheets. 😀 I notice stuff like that.

More pics! The only thing I would like is the right/left speakers are very close together and defeats the purpose of a center channel. It seems that you dont really have a choice though 🙁 I really like the wiring, very clean. How long did this take you?

first thing gone wrong

U CHOSE A SONY HDTV>>>> lol tsk tsk tsk... should of chose hitachi, or mitsu... or least samsung.. sorry bro but the sony's tech on that model are just behind...

Wife picked it out...she got tired off all the black and/or grey sheet sets that I had...(did I just say sheet set??)

How long did this take you?

probably spent about 4 hours in the attic...first time I have done something like this...in all, probably spent about 10 hours, bundling the cable behind the receiver and stuff like that...at least the stand has a pretty good cable management system...

If I could have got a Hitachi or Mitus for $1100 for a 46" widescreen, I would have...this is my first non-Toshiba tv in 14 years...the hitachi and Mits were around $1300 or $1400...the picture quality of the sony still kicks a$$...we did get the 2 year plan for $99 though...

will try and take some more pics this weekend...
