Finally got my boost gauge installed.

Just a Boost gauge? No A/F meter or oil pressure ;) heheh

Looks cool man, it's always good to keep an eye on what's going on in the engine, plus the gauge pod adds to the intimidation factor of the car (I know plenty of people that would back down just by seeing gauges, it automatically gives them the idea there's boost in the engine even if there isn't ;))

It should be up around 8psi after this weekend :)

I'd like to do A/F ratio too (or maybe fuel pressure), but I already had the boost gauge, I'd have to spend money for A/F (or fuel pressure). (I'll do it eventually).

These people that'll back down from a race jsut from seeing a boost gauge - what kinda cars do they drive? :)

My buddy has a 94 Taurus SHO, with nothing more than a few gauges on a pod, and a custom ram air intake - he says people back down at night cause of the glowing gauges :) Keep in mind this is a 15.0 second car

Boost in a mustang? Very nice, cant beat forced induction and displacement :)

Looks good! I'm still waiting for my boost-gauge order to go through...it's integrated into the A-pillar :)

I prefer VDO, it's all I use. And I had an oil pressure gauge and a water temp gauge BEFORE I got the boost gauge.. I am looking for a new gauge, I want the elusive -20 0 30 that VDO makes, I would like to have vacuum, and 20 PSI is too low, I need a gauge that goes to 30. I'll never run 30, but I do run 20-24lbs.. I have an A/F gauge, looks cool, but pretty useless IMHO.

It won't be useless when you add more boost or if you start leaning out in the upper RPMs.

That's what you'd think, but the A/F gauges you can buy don't really seem that helpful.... I need to see one in someone's car before I decide on one or fuel pressure. Then I can get a replacement A Pillar trim peice with 2 integrated gauge pods and it'll look nicer than one attached to the stock peice :)

I have a laptop I use, hooked into the ALDL connector, that maps that for me. I just think the constantly changing LEDs of the A/F meter are a distraction. I have enough to keep my eyes on during a run. :D
