Finally got my Bersa Thunder tonight. Was after 9:30 and dark by the time I got home so no shooting tonight. Will probably be too fvckin hot to shoot tomorrow. may just wait until he weekend.

its a bit bigger than i thought but fits nicely in my hand. its the solid blued model. i was hoping for the duo-tone model but after waiting about 2 months for one to come in stock and being able to grab it, i can't really complain.

now to figure out how to get my concealed carry license. it sucks not knowing anyone.

i'll have to take some pics then. i'll need to take a new "family" portrait of my guns soon. May just wait on that because I'm still looking for a Colt 1873 SAA clone.

You can't figure out how to get a CC?

no, i have the app and stuff, i just need 2 references who are not family members, do not live in the same household, and live in my county. i only personally know 1 prson that fits that description. can't figure out who to use for the 2nd reference.

teacher, employer, friend? How hard is it to find 2 references?

for me, hard.

all of my friends and my employer live in another county. i wasn't ever friends with a teacher or anything to actually use them as a reference. besides, i was one of those quiet kids in school and i've been out of school for i guess 8 years now, so i doubt anyone would even remember me. as far as outside of HS, the same applies but everyone is outside of my county also.

My ol' Bersa (on the right)....

sold her for the Kahr MK9 on the left... :)

did you change the grips? those look like rubber, mine are plastic, plus they don't have the finger groove things. other than that, thats exactly what mine looks like.

no, those were the stock grips that came with it...

i just noticed another difference. mine must have adjustable sites. didn't notice that earlier.

I had a Bersa mini thunder .45 , paid $300. at a gun show, I sold it because I tended to have a high grip, and the design of that model caused the hammer to bite me right there between my thumb knuckle and index finger knuckle, the first few times it happened I just thought the gun had a helluva kick, then I noticed the blood blister :Q

It was a good gun for the money, fully ambidextrous, nice size, accurate, I just kept gripping it too high, so I sold it :(
