I am going to Virginia Partnership for Animal Welfare Support office on Friday to see if they have any kittens I can adopt :) I wanted one for a long time :) I prefer a tabby-grey one but who knows, I may end up with another :) I am college student (senior year) but I have my own place so I hope they will let me adopt one :) I really want to adopt one thats waiting to be put to sleep because I value animals as much as humans. Well, here are the ones that are avaliable according to the website.

[/L]Here they are :) All 8 weeks old :) They will be ready for adoption @ 10 weeks old.

Just a random tabby-grey in that box, i don't know which one he/she is :)

Heh I'm pretty allergic to cats, but my room mate next year is hell bent on keeping hers (its a cute cat so I'll deal I guess heh) The other one she has at her parents house is a mean sucker, I didn't know cats bit until I met that one...

total regret when they grow up, unless you get them fixed and declawed. They will either claw the hell out of your furniture, and males will spray your furniture and curtains. I don't like cats at all

I don't know why, and they are really cute, but that stare somehow screams to me 'please don't eat me.' I think it's the box ;)

Well, if I adopt one of these fellas here, I can't. I have to sign a contract about that with the organization. In exchange they cover all shots and stuff for the first year and teach me how to clip nails but I don't know if I will clip them as I don't have much furniture anyways :)

Cats only claw furniture if you don't provide them something else to claw. Why people think all cats claw things j=up for fun is just retarded. I have 3 indoor cats that are not declawed. And I have lots of furniture and they've never clawed any of it except a wicker chair because it's like wood that they scratch on.

It's so simple to just train the cat to use a scratching post (if you have them around the house) that you never have anything to worry about.

We use ones similar to this: LINK (but without the thing in the middle and it they have a holes at the top and bottom for mounting) and they work great. We have 3 or so of them in various parts of the house. They can hang from a doorknob, screw into the wall, etc. If you hang it from the doorknob, I'd still screw it to the door or it will knock all over when they try to use it.

The cats in the picture sure are cute. Just keep them as indoor only cats so they don't get in trouble outside or get injured.... :(

Why a kitten?

My brother had a cat. I'd try to pet it and it'd start spreading its claws. Freaky.

declawing is a cruel thing to do to a cat.

cats psychologically NEED their claws.

u mess them up if u declaw.

That seems to be a natural reaction for cats.
