Finally getting 2way cable in my area need a router any suggestions?

Toshiba PCX1100U. Havent had any problems with it and I get 3.2MBits bandwidth. 😀
I got mine from Best Buy for about $80 I think...

Not sure about router, what do you do mainly, host games online, file share??
 
I would recommend the Linksys Cable/DSL WAP Router, which also has 4 ports. I've seen this as low as $79, which is what a regular Linksys 4-port cost 1 year ago.

Something to keep in mind about the new Linksys "g" WAP Router is that all wireless adapters will only run as fast as the slowest wireless adapter. So, say you have an older 802.11b adapter at 11Mbps and a 2 new "g" adapters (22Mbps) , all 3 adapters will only run at 11Mbps.
