Yeah, haven't played for a long time either. I sold my Automag R/T with mamba coil and nitrous tank w/ backpack. God I miss that game. If anybody has stuff for sale, PM me, I might be interested.

Like Spydermag68 said, try it out first if you haven't already. See what markers your local field uses; they're usually going to be inexpensive but rugged equipment, very likely Tippmann 98's, which is an excellent marker for a beginner. The non-electro (fully mechanical) Spyders are a good choice as well; they're simple to maintain, but have an excellent upgrade path if you want to improve on the basic marker.

When you get a mask, get one that has a thermal lense, like a JT Spectra or V-Force Shield. Non-thermal masks have a nasty tendency to fog up in the inside, making it difficult to see. If you wear glasses, the V-Force masks have a pretty good amount of room for them. Some players like to install fans in their masks to help prevent fogging, both for glasses and the mask lense.
