Tool.

Diseases are real. Find something else to joke about.

Honestly, you are apparently the tool.

Why am I "apparently the tool"?

Ask around. You'll find that most people know someone who has a serious medical ailment -- or who has died from one. People who experience that stuff don't usually find it good subject matter for jokes.

I've had lots of family members die from random diseases. Mostly cancer. If you cannot laugh at life how in the hell can you laugh at death?

Lighten up, I thought it was amusing.

I've had family members die from cancer. My best friend has cystic fibrosis. I do not recall ever cracking jokes (or even hearing them joke about it) about the disease(s) or dying.

Maybe I'm just in a foul mood today. I may look back at this and laugh...

I'm trying to find the point in all of this. My father died in a plane crash. Does that mean I don't find plane crash jokes funny? Don't even say there aren't those kinds of jokes because there are. Does it mean I cringe anytime someone says something like that? No. I've lost people to cancer as well, but it doesn't mean I can't find a joke(which wasn't making fun of people with cancer) related to cancer funny. Freaking Lewis Grizzard used to make jokes all the time about his heart condition. People who get offended at this stuff are touchy, dry people. Some people who I actually offended I did apologize, but those of you who are piling on, or saying my mother's brothers' dog died from cancer is ridiculous. Who hasn't had a family member die from cancer?

If you can't find any humor in this then I apologize, but saying it can't be funny or it is sacred is stupid. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I knew there would be some that would be mad instead of laugh. I knew that. A risk I took. For the record I really do have a serious sleeping and fatigue problem, but even I can laugh at my own problems. I make fun of myself all the time. What's wrong with that?

I had a friend in Atlanta that used to always make jokes about Planes and stuff to bug me. He was Jewish so I started making Jewish jokes about him. Neither one of us took it personally, and we were not life long friends or anything. Just casual friends that knew how to have a good time. There would be a difference if someone was actually insulting you for you actual personal problem or insulting your family member. I've actually used the phrase "as funny as a train wreck" or "as funny as Flight 93" before. It isn't meant to make fun of people that suffered through something. Read into whatever you want. I knew this would become a "train wreck" or a "plane crash" because people are too damn touchy.

/me adds cancer to the censorship list

You hit the nail on the head. Thats exactly how I feel about the Iraqis that dragged and mutilated the American bodies yesterday. They were just having a good time and enjoying themselves... it was all in good fun. Some people are too damn touchy. Americans need to learn to be able to laugh at themselves sometimes

Let me help you out a bit

Honestly Mill, do you have any friends in real life?

I say this in all seriousness... at your age, getting your social needs met on an internet forum might be a disease in itself.

You've got a problem with a post I made at 6am? Nah, you are right I don't have any friends. Only the ones I already played jokes on.

Everyone has social needs... laughter, drama, arguments, love, rantings. [b[I just find it odd that you look for drama on the internet, thats all.[/b]

Not saying that was the purpose of this thread... because it wasn't, but umm what are you doing right now? Hypocrite much? All you are trying to do is create drama from a joke thread.

Clever and well played. Not too funny, because B-cell lymphoma is serious, but one should expect things like that today.

Sometimes you need to step into the pig's pen in order to deal with the pigs :)

I'm fine with bowing out of this thread. Your flamewars might be entertaining to some, but I can do without them, thanks.

Wow you must be feeling really sorry for yourself today. But still it was kind of funny.

Try debating without a fallacy next time. You're the one who started posting to begin with. Not like I invited you here to debate.

I started out feeling very badly for you, as I just finished my radiation (chemo already done) for lymphoma a week ago (seriously). I agree that you can make jokes about whatever you want (cancer included), but no joke like that is ever funny when you do it in a way that gets you sympathy at first...

Why is it deserving of a ban?

Maybe if the thread was titled, 'Crazyfool is a c0cksmoker and loves da c0ck' he deserve a ban, but not this.

I thought that it was a little curious that he said he got biopsy results at 7 AM, but I didn't think that even Mill would stoop this this low.

doctor's are dumb. all they do is tell you you have a problem so it's in your head, and deal you drugs. i know this guy who does accupuncture, and he dispises doctors. he never tells his patients they have a disease or anything like that, he just cures them. he cured MS in its early stages, once. they scare you by telling you you have a disease so you'll buy more drugs. once it's in your head, you're screwed.

At least he apologized for being a moron! :)

Where?

0 out of 10 on the funny scale.

If you didn't like the joke or thought it was too serious then I apologize. I just knew any run of the mill(no pun intended) April Fool's joke would be quickly figured out.

It was a half assed apology but you can expect much from an idiot like him.
