Finally fixed my car

Finallllly. Got done with my engine swap Saturday afternoon after I got off work.

The new engine hit the ground on Friday at noon, and I had the thing running by 5:30. Pretty damn good for my first time. No issues once it's running, just a vacuum leak somewhere (fuck) but it's only apparent if I ride the brakes. (RPM's drop / stall). Either a booster or a bad PCV valve.

Really pulling for it to be a PCV problem.

Shit the money shots are on the other SD card. I'll put the good ones up tomorrow 😛

From what I can find via google, it's actually the opposite based on actual consumer experience. How do you figure this is one of the worst cars ever made?

Ya I'm left with the same feeling every time I put my foot to the floor. =[ ahahaha

And it's an Escort ZX2. There haven't really been any problems on it, that aren't directly caused by me. I know why my transmission died, and I know exactly why the power plant decided to croak. haha.

Other than that, in the 10k I've put on it, nothing but oil changes, and a couple of suspension wear items, and that's it. I can't complain about it at all.

Well the transmission died after being abused by a 17 year old kid, lol. It died in a slipping clutch pack mess.

The engine died in a blue ball of oily smoke. Blew my piston rings out, lol.
