Finally fixed Memory Scores!

Here is my Setup:
Duron 700@805(7x115)
MSI KT7 Pro2a (2.4 Bios)
256 CAS2 PC133 Crucial Ram - CAS2 @ 153(removed 256 - didn't need it)
WinMe and Win2000 Pro DualBoot

Anyway i was getting very poor memory scores in SiSoft. Around 380/420. And that was at the Overclocked frequency!!! I played around with the BIOS, set the ram config to Auto SPD, and now I'm getting 480/600. If i install the OC Bios that's another 20 points so 500/620! Try it out. Set the Bios to auto SPD instead of CAS2 PC133, maybe your results will skyrocket like mine did! Peace out.

Yeah, I noticed that a while back when I couldn't figure out why my scores were so low, I think it has something to do with using the 4-way interleaving only when ram timings are set by SPD.

hmmm i have a p3 733@825 - 150mhz bus
cuv4x(via)mobo/128meg pc133 cas2
is my score of 394/485 low?
also when i set it to "by spd" it lowered my score to around 350/440
if it is low.. what is causing it to be like that?
and how do i fix?
thanx

In bios you can really boost your memory performance setting 4 bank interleave. You'll gain atleats 50 - 100 points. (Atleast I did with my mushkin rev2 high performance memory)

Thats pretty good - must be the increased FSB?
I'm getting 471/552 on my KT7A with 100FSB and max settings - as far as I am aware anyway..
