Finally finished my first build!

Took me 6 hours lol, but I guess its not that bad for a first build.

Here is my new System and Cost:

Case - RaidMax Cobra 822 Mid-Tower - $69.00 cdn
PSU - Antec True Power 380W - $99.95 cdn
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Processor 512k - $200.00 US
Motherboard - MSI K8N Neo-FSR - $90.00 US
Memory - Apacer 512MB PC400/3200 400MHz DDR x 2 - $230.00 cdn
HD - Seagate Barracuda 80GB 7200 8MB SATA - $95.00 cdn
Floppy - $16.00 cdn <- lol, oh well

Total Spent = $964.91 cdn (~$750 US)

Parts are more expensive here in Canada, plus here in Ontario you got to pay 15% tax so yeah. I got the CPU and Mobo off 2 great sellers from this site Brand New, and best of all didin't have to pay tax on em :evil:. What you guys think did I do well, or could have I done better for the $?

Hard to say if you could've done better for the $, considering prices vary in canada (even taking the exchange rate into account) and I'm not familiar with them, but you got a machine that beats the sh!t out of a Dell the way Mike Tyson would kick the hell out of Richard Simmons, and paid less in the process Congrats, enjoy it

I kept my old ASUS Radeon 9600 XT.

It runs great, was having some doubts about the Motherboard after hearing some horror stories about it on this forum, but it runs great. Live update is a definite plus, since I've never flashed BIOS before.
