After 4 part-time semesters in graduate school, I am finally eligible to sit for the CPA exam. I graduated undergrad with 123 credits. To sit for the CPA exam in Maryland, you need 150 credits. My 2 recent graduate classes just ended, and I received an A in both classes, giving me 150 total credit hours.
Now I have to request transcripts from the colleges and fill out some application paperwork and submit them with a few small fees.
I'm going to take 2 months off (taking a trip to Taiwan and South Korea at the end of June). I'd rather come back from the trip refreshed and then start studying for the exam. I'll purchase the CPA exam review materials at that time as well from Becker (around $2,800).
Feels good to finally get here.
