EDIT: FEB 7th 2:37 After reading a good length of the A8N-SLI DEluxe board i noticed there are only problems after the board is oc'ed. Does the board suck if its not overclocked?

I've been all over the asus sli-deluxe mobo since it came out... then i read all the problems. Oi Vey
Now i've been waiting about 2 months for the s939 mobos to come out and now their is about a good 15 mobos out 7 i think if you narrow then down to nForce 4.
So many boards though... price is not a problem when it comes down to a mobo (of course i'll look for a low price but thats after i pick one).

What mobo is living up to its name, Right now i'm leaning towards the mid-end LanParty Sli-D, because it has future updatability...

Another thing is that i do feel Sli is going to make an impact in the future so that should be integrated in the card... so please dont flame me because i like SLI

Thanks for the help.

i just built my a8n-sli deluxe rig a few days ago and it went smoother than i ever imagined. i was worried about the chipset fan noise but i dont even notice it, my dvd drive and raptor are by far the loudest components i have. the only real problems i had were issues with my p160 case (power and reset lights and external usb and fireware connections)

asus a8n-sli deluxe
a64 3200+
1 gig mushkin green 2x512
bfg 6600gt oc
74g raptor
nec 3500 dvd
athena power 500w psu
antec p160 case

Also another thing... Are there any mobos socket 939 mobos with agp and pci-e???

If no, then can an agp card be place in a pci-e slot... because i have been seeing some cards that state "Pci Express support... AGP 8x card"?? What does that mean.

What does "Pci Express support... AGP 8x card"?? What does that mean. I'll try to get a link where i exact saw it but i have seen it in a few place that sell 6800 cards

The BFG is an AGP card; "Bus Type AGP"- The PCI express bullet is simply wrong. All sites use the manufacturer's boilerplate text, thus the proliferation of this error.

its PCI-express, 16x, i recomend the A8N-Sli Board, if u dont stuff around with it u wont have any problems (im on it now)
