New appliances, new floor, new counter tops, new lighting, updated electrical.

Next on the list is new cabinets, but need to finish the game room/mancave first.

Perhaps a counter depth fridge would of been a better option, seems you only have 2.5 feet for the entrance.
Whats behind the wall where the fridge is? If its a garage or a mud room i would open up the section behind the fridge and re-frame it so you can push it back more.

Nice! feels great to update the kitchen. That and the master bathroom fit the phrase,
"happy wife, happy life" whether you do more of the cooking or not.

It is a covered patio. Future plans is to extend the house out and turn the covered patio into a larger kitchen/breakfast area. The room that I took the picture from is the original breakfast area, but I turned it in to an office.

We knew we wanted a french door fridge and the counter depth option would have been twice what I paid for the fridge we got.

It is worse than that, the selection is poor, the capacity is way less. I will be punching into the master closet behind the kitchen so I can 'flush' a standard depth with the counters.

Looks nice, not a big fan of stainless, but looks good in that kitchen.

i shoot a lot of what would be considered high end real estate (500K-1.5 mil) in the Gold Coast area of NJ, and by far stainless looks the best in newly constructed/remodeled kitchens
