I'm always obsessing about my home theater stuff. Maybe there's something better, maybe I'd like this more than this, etc.. So I've bought a number of new speakers over the years, tried them for awhile, and wound up selling them to try something else. But I've FINALLY landed on a complete setup that I've decided I think is perfect for my needs, and I'm done buying new stuff.

Here's what I have:

Display: 54" Panasonic Viera S-series plasma
Receiver: Denon AVR-2309
Speakers: Fronts: Energy RC-10, Center: Energy RC-Mini CC, Surrounds: Energy RC-Mini
Subwoofer: Hsu STF-2

The TV looks outstanding, the sound is phenomenal.. For once, I'm quite content. Who knew it was possible :)

Now what the hell am I supposed to do with my time?

Sorry, but I have to be the first to say it:

This thread fails without pics. :D

Glad you're liking it! looks like a good setup. What sources are you using?

All I can say is you are either a liar or don't care about home theater...no person that loves home theater would just stop looking and never upgrade again ;)

Beside, I've done some "Free" upgrades by selling the old stuff on craigslist for the same amount I find the new equipment for online through a great deal.

I know, I'm sure I am lying. Something is bound to catch my eye on a bargain somewhere and tempt me to try it out.. And I"ve done the same thing as you many times (selling old stuff on eBay/craigslist when finding a great deal on something new, so there's little/no cost in the upgrade). But really, it is the first time I can remember where I'm not sitting here thinking something is lacking. Which is weird.

I'll take a photo of the setup when I get a sec...

I just did a round of upgrades and I'm in a similar situation where I'm strangely content with how things are.

My new bass shaker installation on the rear seating has an annoying rattle that I have to fix, but other than that... things are pretty solid :p

oh, and pics
