After quite some time in my own tiny team and thinking about joining Seti.Germany I am finally in the TA bunch, mostly because of the fine community we have here and in the other forums!

P.S. Do I have to change anything for SetiDriver, do we have a proxy for wus?

Welcome to the Team Glad to have you.

About the proxy i'm sure that some of our more knowledgeable members
will be along shortly.

:)

In your profile it says

Munich

Alabama ???????

Germany

I'm from Denmark and i'm sure that Alabama is not in Germany OR ? ;)

Yes, I'm also sure of that, but there is no option for Munich, Bavaria, hope they add it soon :D

Welcome to the TeAm!

We're certainly glad to have you.

I'm afraid I can't help you with SetiDriver as I run SeqtQ, myself. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to answer your question.

Should be nothing to change in SetiDriver. All of your historical WUs and all of your new WUs will be credited to Team AnandTech as of the time you JOINED Seti TeamAnandTech.:)

Let me extend a hearty welcome to the team.:D

So glad you joined up.

cnhoff, Welcome to the TeAm!! :D;)

Yes, we have a proxy. It is run by the member Orange Kid.
He is away on vacation right now, and I beleive he has someone here who is watching the store for him but I don't remember who.
On the other hand, I just tried connecting to his site and it isn't responding - so for now I would leave proxy blank, set to not use proxy and just cache enough units for a few days. I personally keep 3 days worth of units cached on each of my machines and then if any outage gets worse than that I rely on Orange Kid's proxy.

Welcome Cnhoff to Team Anandtech! :D

I believe Wellcky is taking care of Orange Kid's proxy while he is on vacation. I think that there was some problems, but I don't know if they have been resolved yet. :Q

You shouldn't have to change anything in SETI driver.

Our team proxy is at orangekid.teamanandtech.com and the port number is 5001.

I've been to Deutschland (did I spell that right?) a couple of times, and Munich is my 2nd favorite city. Sorry, I just have to love all the canals in Hamburg AM;)

Hey Assimilator, I know, but I just didn't want to let my buddy down, but now he has joined Seti.Germany, so I have joined my favorite team, too.

My herd:

- TBird 1500 24/7
- PIII 600 24/7
- PIII 500 24/7

- K6-2 450 most of the time
- PIII 500 at work (maybe 8 days a month)
- Dual PIII-500 at work only when I have nightshift or weekend shift

Hey ElFenix, no problems with expiration, my birdie does 50 Wus in about 10 days ;)

Basically it can nearly keep pace with my birdie assimilator, but I have not asked for permission to run Seti on this machine, so I can only utilize it at certain times!

By the way, how are "official" reactions to the project, do the bosses like you to run Seti on their machines? I am asking, because I could probably increase the number of machines, if I would find the guts to ask my boss ;)
